Pursuing a degree in clinical mental health counseling has been an endevour of self-discovery, ethical fortitude, and a passion for helping individuals find their purpose through empowerment. From the beginning of my career I have made client counselor relationships my first priority. Building the confidence to find peace, purpose, and autonomy is my goal as I continue on my career path. I continue to be guided by the principles of the ACA Code of Ethics (2014). These foundational principles - justice, benefcence, autonomy, nonmalefcence, and veracity - are the foundation of my counseling practice.  Navigating trauma and crisis situations with skill and self confidence is imperative through professional supervision, continuing education, and community advocacay. As I move forward into the years ahead, I will focus my practice on crisis intervention, trauma informed care, and family therapy interventions.
